Don’t Miss This Rally on Curaegis Technologies Inc (OTCMKTS:CRGS) Shares

Curaegis Technologies Inc (OTCMKTS:CRGS) shares were up 22.42% on Friday to $1.01 and flat in after-hours trading. The company has a market cap of $48.62 million at 46.68 million shares outstanding. Share prices have been trading in a 52-week range of $0.26 to $1.11 so the stock is already approaching resistance.

Formerly known as Torvec Inc, Curaegis Technologies Inc is a company that develops and markets technologies in the areas of power, safety and wellness. It is focused on technologies, such as the Circadian User Risk Assessment (CURA) system and the Aegis hydraulic pump, with divisions including CURA Division and Aegis Division.

The CURA division is engaged in the fatigue management business. The CURA system consists of individual elements, including the myCadian watch, panic-button and man-down system, CURA software, and the Z-Coach wellness program. The myCadian watch, which is a wearable device paired with the CURA system, is a real time alertness and emergency monitoring system that addresses sleep and fatigue management solutions. The Z-Coach e-learning module includes Z-Coach Aviation, which is designed for aviation professionals, from flight and ground crews, to scheduling, dispatch, administration and management. Its Aegis division is engaged in the power and hydraulic business.

A couple of weeks back, Curaegis Technologies Inc CEO Richard Kaplan shared an update on the company’s recent events and accomplishments. First off, he announced  the appointment of James R. Donnelly, who has extensive experience in wearable technologies as well as start-ups, as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In this role, he is in charge of creating sales and marketing plans, sales processes and supporting the sales vice presidents in each of our identified vertical market opportunities.

Next, Kaplan shared that the company added two important and prestigious members to their Scientific Advisory Board: Dr. Michael Grandner from the Sleep and Health Research Program at the University of Arizona and Dr. Torbjorn Akerstedt from the Stress Research Institute at Stockholm University in Sweden.Dr. Grandner is the Director of and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Arizona College of Medicine whose research focuses on how sleep and sleep-related behaviors are related to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, neurocognitive functioning, mental health, and longevity. Meanwhile, Dr. Akerstedt is one of the preeminent researchers in the area of fatigue management in the world, having developed one of the gold standard tests called KSS Test for sleep and fatigue analysis.

Dr. Grandner and Dr. Akerstedt are highly respected experts in the field of Fatigue and Sleep Management and we are very proud and excited for them to join our Scientific Advisory Board,” noted Curaegis Technologies Inc CEO Richard Kaplan.

Kaplan also added that Curaegis Technologies Inc has extended internal beta testing to allow for further software refinement and looks forward the launch of our external beta phase. Just last year, the company has completed validation studies for its myCadian watch, which can predict a person’s fatigue level at close to laboratory accuracy in real-time, has added staff to accommodate sales opportunities and anticipates production early this year.
