Double Crown Resources Inc (OTCMKTS:DDCC) shares were up 20.76% to $0.0114 on Tuesday. The company has a market cap of $5.93 million at 507.31 million shares outstanding. Share prices have been trading in a 52-week range of $0.01 to $0.02.
Double Crown Resources is an exploration-stage company that plans on on building a portfolio of producing mineral properties through acquisition of properties that are in production or have the potential for near-term production. It also intends to participate in negotiations and discussions with joint venture parties regarding sourcing frac-sand, barite, guar gum and other industrial chemicals and establishing the infrastructure to deliver these materials to oil and gas drilling sites.
In a recent press release, Double Crown Resources announced that The United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued patent number 9,428,330 for its advanced intermodal transport system called Translock². Apart from that, two other patent applications are pending for a commodity transport and storage system which could have several applications in markets all over the globe.
The Translock² intermodal system has no equal in its advantages for the modern containerized macro logistics transport and storage model. The negotiations we are currently engaged in for marketing this new level of technology are making it very clear to us that every company involved in major commodity shipping will want to employ Translock² in some way for the huge improvements it will bring in terms of cost and time savings, safety, security and environmental protection,” said Double Crown Resources President Allen Lopez.
With this patent approval, the company is able to engage in direct negotiations with large shipping companies in the shipping and industrial container business sector to secure contracts for the commercial implementation of Translock². Additional licensing options are being explored for companies and systems that can incorporate features of Translock² in their existing transportation models.
